Scuba Diver Certification

Become a Certified Scuba Diver in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands!

This program is for students who do not have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program. It provides you with the training and experience required to dive in open water environments under the supervision of a dive professional. It can be accomplished in one day! You will earn the Scuba Diver certification, which can be upgraded to the Open Water Diver certification with additional training.

This course offers you to be a fully certified Scuba Diver. It does have some limitations compared to being an Open Water Diver, however.

• Scuba Divers must dive under the direct supervision of a Professional Dive Guide
• Scuba Divers are limited to 12 meters/40 feet.

Note:

• E-learning materials are not included in the certification price listed. You will need to sign up for open water eLearning and Complete Knowledge Development 1-3, including quizzes.
• All pool sessions require a minimum of 2 students for scheduling. It’s more fun with a buddy anyway. *Single students can be scheduled but will be charged an additional $125 for a one on one pool session with the instructor.*
• Please be aware we need to have minimum 3 divers to run any boat trip. In the unlikely event we do not have a minimum of 3 divers, we will inform you ASAP, offer to reschedule or refund your full booking charge.

What to Bring:

• Almost everything you need is provided, just bring swimwear, sun protection, towels, and customary gratuity for the boat staff. A doctor’s medical clearance is needed  if answers on the medical form require it.
