YES, absolutely! Although our morning trips are usually reserved for certified divers only, our afternoon trips cater to a variety of activities including certified diving, dive training, Discover Scuba Diving, and snorkeling. We also welcome passengers aboard (fee applies). Alternatively, you can book a private full or half-day trip for the morning or afternoon.

All guests on board our boats must be able to swim. We do not offer swim lessons at this time.

Check-in is half an hour before activity start time. For morning trips, check-in is at 8:00AM for 8:30AM departure. For afternoon trips, check-in is at 12:30PM for 1:00PM departure. If you are running late, please call or text (340) 642-8701.

- All snorkel and dive trips depart from Aqua Marine Dive Center located at Saga Haven Marina.
- Pool sessions take place at the Aqua Marine Dive SHOP at Limetree Beach Resort.

Yes. There is some complimentary parking available in the open-air parking deck. Parking is permitted where signs say “Saga Haven Marina Tenant Parking Only”. At times, the parking area may fill up quickly so we highly suggest carpooling or taking a taxi in high season.

There are two cruise ports on St. Thomas. The marina is approximately 20 minutes from WICO/Havensight cruise port and 30 minutes from Crown Bay cruise port, depending on traffic. We encourage all cruise ship guests to arrange for a private taxi to meet you on arrival and ensure you arrive on time. Contact us for assistance.

We do NOT provide transportation to the marina. We can, however, arrange the taxi for you if you are coming from a ship or one of the island resorts. We can add the taxi fare to your booking, communicate pickup and return time between you and the driver, and we pay the taxi driver directly. If you are on a tight schedule to and from a cruise dock, we highly suggest pre-arranging your taxi ahead of your scheduled date and time.

Water, soft drinks, and light snacks (chips, cookies, crackers, etc.) are provided on board, as well as rum punch for the trip back to the dock. If you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring other options on board to put in our cooler, however space is limited and we do not allow glass containers/bottles. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol unless booked on a private trip.

No, there is no restroom on board. Guests are reminded to use the portable restroom at the marina prior to departure and the “natural facilities” during the excursion.

Open flames are not permitted on board, so no cigarette or cigar smoking, etc. on our boats. Vaping is permitted, with the exception of any legal or illegal substances known to impair mental and physical capabilities, under the captain’s direction as to when and where onboard.

We enjoy having small groups on our excursions, averaging 6 – 10 people. The max customers allowed on the boat depend on what activities are scheduled, however, we rarely have more than 15 guests on board each boat. Groups are then usually divided into smaller groups with a guide.

We usually will assign one professional dive guide for every 6 certified divers. There may be additional guides if we deem necessary to provide the best experience. For an additional fee, you may pre-arrange for a private dive master for you or your party. (subject to availability)

No problem! Nobody dives alone. All our dives are guided, so you will always be in the company of the professional guide and other divers.

No, you do not need your card but we will require proof of certification. That proof may be a digital copy or photo of your certification on your phone if you don’t have your physical card. Also, we’re happy to look up your certification. Please call, email, or stop by the shop to provide full name and birthdate and whether your certification is from PADI, SSI, etc.

We love input from our guests, but ultimately our crew selects our sites each day based upon sea and weather conditions, activities onboard, guest experience, as well as other factors. You are welcome to request a particular site and we will try to make it happen if conditions allow. If you are diving multiple days with us, we will make every effort to ensure you dive a different site each time.

Our dive packages offer a discount for multiple days of diving with us and they never expire! We also offer a discount of 20% for St. Thomas residents with valid local ID. Other discounts may be announced periodically on our social media channels so be sure to follow!

No, we don’t travel to St. John or the British Virgin Islands at this time. We frequent a number of amazing sites at which to snorkel and dive right around St. Thomas.

Yes please! Tips/gratuities are customary and highly appreciated by the crew! The captain, guides, and instructors all work hard to make your experience memorable and keep you safe, so show them some love! Customary tip on the island for adequate service is 20%, increasing at your discretion for exceptional service. As with any service industry, tips should reflect your satisfaction and enjoyment. The instructors and entire boat crew will equally share the tips from each trip.
Tips are accepted via cash, credit card, Venmo or a combination. You can also ask to have your tip added to your credit card at time of booking or before or after your trip.
